About

What is The Founder Circle?

The Founder Circle is a curated founder roundtable that brings together entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders for meaningful conversations, shared learning, and collaborative growth.

Unlike traditional networking events, The Founder Circle is designed as a room for honest discussions, strategic thinking, peer learning, and real relationships.

Over the last 12 editions, The Founder Circle has evolved into a trusted ecosystem where founders have built friendships, discovered opportunities, collaborated on projects, referred business to one another, and supported each other through their entrepreneurial journeys.

Why The Founder Circle Exists

Entrepreneurship can often feel lonely.

Founders spend their days making decisions, solving problems, leading teams, and carrying responsibilities that few people truly understand.

The Founder Circle was created to provide a space where founders could step away from the day-to-day noise of business and engage in meaningful conversations with peers who understand the journey.

Not a networking event.

Not a seminar.

Not a conference.

A roundtable.

A room where founders can learn from one another, challenge ideas, share experiences, and grow together.

Founder, The Founder Circle

Co-Founder & Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, DC Growth Partners

Akhila Hari is a business strategist, entrepreneur, mentor, and ecosystem builder with over 15 years of professional experience spanning investment banking, branding, marketing, sales, and business growth.

After beginning her career with global institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Barclays, Akhila transitioned into entrepreneurship with a mission to help businesses scale through stronger positioning, marketing, and growth strategies. Over the years, she has worked closely with founders and business owners across multiple industries, helping them navigate growth challenges and build sustainable businesses.

Through these interactions, she noticed a recurring pattern—founders often had access to information, but lacked access to meaningful peer conversations. Many were making critical decisions in isolation, with few opportunities to learn from fellow entrepreneurs who truly understood the journey.

This observation led to the creation of The Founder Circle.

What started as a small founder roundtable has, over the course of 12 editions, evolved into a trusted platform where entrepreneurs come together to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, learn from one another, and build lasting relationships.

Today, The Founder Circle brings together founders from diverse industries who share a common belief:

Growth happens faster when founders learn together.

For Akhila, The Founder Circle is more than an initiative. It is a reflection of her belief that business growth is not just about strategy, revenue, or scaling—it is also about belonging, support, and surrounding yourself with the right people on the journey.

A Note From Akhila Hari

When I started The Founder Circle, my intention was simple.

I wanted to create a room where founders could have conversations that matter.

I didn’t set out to build a large community.
I wanted to create a meaningful experience.

Over the last year, I’ve watched strangers become friends, conversations turn into collaborations, and founders genuinely show up for one another.

Today, The Founder Circle stands as proof that when the right people gather with the right intention, extraordinary things can happen.
